WHETHER YOU KNOW IT OR NOT

Coffee was wonderful. In fact, it was so wonderful Giselle was going to get some at eight at night. There was nothing the next day, so what did it matter if she couldn’t sleep well? She’d just sleep in and do whatever she needed to later on. Off days were meant to be times of procrastination, though mostly for her they were times when she caught up on everything that needed to be caught up on. Izzy liked to be productive if she could. It wasn’t like she’d go out of her way to do so though. Like any teenager, work wasn’t something the girl looked forward to. It was a bother. Lounging about in a coffee shop was much more interesting and entertaining.
Giselle slipped her shoes on and stepped out of the bus, deciding to walk. It was preferred. The weather wasn’t all that bad either. As her shoes clicked against the pavement, she looked around at the things surrounding her. Nature was so nice, and as much as Izzy sometimes hated the weather and the like, she couldn’t say it wasn’t beautiful. Maybe it was weird for her to appreciate everything so much. A lot of people couldn’t care less about the trees and plants and animals because they’re too busy getting drunk or doing something else that could ruin their future. There was nothing wrong with partying, but excessive partying was ridiculous. That was why she didn’t do it in excess.
It didn’t take long for her to finally arrive at Starbucks, where the fresh coffee smells greeted her as she walked in. Izzy smiled softly while waiting to order, her eyes yet again taking in the surroundings. It was a nice local place with a good vibe. A step was taken to be closer to the counter, and her order was recited. Just a simple large coffee. Not decaf, though the precaution would’ve been nice for her sleep schedule. It wasn’t necessary though, only if tomorrow was a school day. The blonde stood to the side whilst her order was being made, patiently waiting. That was the only thing she could do, since she didn’t see anyone familiar and being rude wasn’t her thing.
Two minutes later, she heard her order being called out, and she walked over to get it. She added the sugar and cream, sipping it before walking away. If it wasn’t right, it would be annoying to have to get up and fix it again. Elle turned to the sitting area and eyed the open tables. One by a window was desired, and there just so happened to be only one left. Score! She smiled as she walked over to it and sat in one of the chairs. As she sipped her coffee, Izzy looked outside and watched everything going on outside the window.
